Depression & Fight for Survival

In today’s world almost every second person is suffering from depression some due to their work life, some due to their family life etc.

Symptoms of depression are feelings of sadness, tearfulness, emptiness or hopelessness, anger, frustration, sleep disturbance, tiredness etc.

People today are working very hard and giving 100% to their employers, but they are not getting anything in return, so they are depressed and it happens very often. The person who is less knowledgeable and lacking experience is getting everything sometimes because of sourcing or politics.

How do you overcome this depression when it comes to your career? Start ignoring what is happening around you and stay focused on your goal. No one can stop you from achieving success. You may have heard that "patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet." We are all surrounded by negative people, but never lose faith in ourselves and your work.

Families sometimes have problems, such as not understanding our feelings and disconnecting from our emotions. They often become rigid in their decisions and as a result forget that we are their child, so we have priority over society. This prevents us from doing things that are essential to our happiness. These things happen because there is an age gap between us and our parents so what we are living through now they have already experienced it long before so they want to stop us so that we don’t get into any kind of trouble but sometimes their concern becomes a cause of depression for us which we are unable to understand in the early stage of our life and parents also are unaware of our situation.

So according to me, nowadays almost everyone is suffering from one of these problems.

I began my career as an assistant to a director who used to insult me in front of everyone even if I made a slight error. However, she would not even mention it if I accomplished anything valuable. Believe me guys at that time I literally seemed to be in tears and was suffering from depression. I used to tell myself then that I had to improve myself and get hold of a good job opportunity. This would enable me to earn respect because of my work and become more stable in life. I finally got one. But problems do come in our way because ups and downs are part of life.

Happiness is the only solution to overcome depression. Try to find happiness in the small events of life. Always discuss your problems but choose the right person to discuss with.
